Description
Acrylic acid monoester of propylene glycol (reaction mass of isomers). Colorless to light-yellow liquid with ester-like/acrylic odor. Used as a functional acrylate monomer for polymer manufacture and UV/EB-curable formulations.
Uses
Reactive diluent & monomer used to make acrylic/UV-curable resins, copolymers, and chemical intermediates; used in coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers.
Benefits
Improves adhesion, flexibility, toughness, and reactivity; hydroxyl group improves polarity and compatibility; enables crosslinking and faster cure in radiation-curable systems.

| Storage & Packaging | Store cool (commonly ≤35 °C), away from heat/light/initiators/oxidizers; keep container tightly closed and under air (oxygen needed for MEHQ-type inhibitors); avoid contamination; follow FIFO and monitor inhibitor level for long storage. |
| Product Stewardship | Use trained personnel; implement spill control, PPE, ventilation, and exposure monitoring; prevent release to drains; follow local transport/storage rules; consult SDS before handling. |
| Note | Property values vary by isomer ratio, inhibitor level (e.g., MEHQ), purity, and test method. Use your supplier COA/SDS as the specification for purchasing and compliance. |
| Notice | This datasheet is compiled from publicly available references and typical industry ranges. It is provided for information only and is not a specification. Always rely on the latest supplier SDS/COA and applicable regulations for your use case. |
